Rodney Bewes  :candle

I use to love "The Likely Lads" from way back. You forget just how old these people are now and are dropping off their perches.

Christine Keeler.........Wow!  a name from the past. She certainly livened up the political scene back in the 1960's.   :D

A recent photo of her and did she look old and worn out for 75.

I was introduced to Johnnie Holliday's music by my French teacher at Grammar school.  His songs were used for dictation purposes.

Keith Chegwin has died.  I used to like him when he was on the Multicoloured Swap Shop in the late 70's early 80's, which we used to let daughters watch while we were getting ready to go shopping/swimming/whatever.

RIP Cheggers :candle

It was reported this morning that he was a very heavy smoker and also a very heavy drinker at one stage in his life.

Heavy smoking will  ultimately cause damage to the lungs as Cheggers had.

It was Idiopathic I read. My nan's was idiopathic. They asked her if she'd ever had a parrot or if my grandad or anyone close to her was a coal miner ever. It was a totally unknown cause in my nan.

Zeb's right - it was idiopathic but that doesn't mean to say it wasn't exacerbated by his heavy smoking habit.

I expect there aint one thing that smoking doesn't make worse. My nan never smoked and neither did anyone around her.
